Ready for summer storms
Summer is here and so are summer storms. Remember to unplug your sensitive electronic equipment such as telephones, cordless phones, answering machines, fax machines, computers, televisions and satellite dishes from your telephone and cable TV wall jacks as well as the electrical outlets. Don't expect an electrical surge protector to stop lightning. During a storm, don't use the telephone except for emergency calls. Lightning can strike even buried telephone lines and cause possible injury if you are using the phone at that moment. After the storm passes, plug your devices back in. If you have lost service, please check to see each device is properly connected. If you still do not have service after doing this, please report the outage to our office.
