Pastor Buchs led our Bible study.
Peggy read the November minutes and they were approved as read.
In the absence of Edna Mae, JoAnne gave the Treasurer's report showing a balance of $245.34.
After committee reports we moved on to some unfinished business as to when we can have Kitty Rosin speak to us about her experience as a delegate to the International LWML
Convention. Gayle will ask her about coming to our meeting in March.
We also discussed the best way to collect for the Grant County Food Shelf. Mission service is working on this.
We talked about nursing home visits, where and when it will work the best. Gayle will be checking with at least one of the nursing homes.
We are going to start our winter quilting on Monday, January 19.
On Thursday, January 22, Delano and Linda Meyer will speak t a Mission Fest at our church. We want to find out what some of their needs are.
January 27 at 1:30 p.m. is the date for the planning committee to meet at Campbell to plan the LWML Spring Rally. Officers are to try to attend.
We are having our February Prayer Service on February 7 at 9:30 a.m. Peggy is to send an invitation to the Campbell ladies. Hostesses are Robin Christians, Virginia Fickes and Grace Werk.
Repairing the hymnals was discussed. Ladonna will check on what we need.
We discussed having a Ladies Bible Study. It will be held the same morning (Mondays) when we have quilting. Ladonna will work with
Pastor to pick a topic.
We closed with our Christian Growth Feature, a "Litany for the Giving of Mites," after which JoAnne Werk served a tasty lunch.
