Welcome to “Story Tellers Live at Nelson’s Lodge” This web page has been created to publicize, book and establish a place to sign-up for “House Concert” events at Nelson’s Lodge in rural West-Central Minnesota. The events typically have acoustic performances by artists in the folk/country/rock genre who will tell stories about what inspired them while writing their material then, they will perform their original works in an intimate setting. House Concerts are becoming the new “Coffee House” venues of our time. These shows are a great networking and marketing option for newer musicians and those not in the mainstream music industry. They’re also a place for fans and artists to interact in a comfortable more personable setting. We hope to attract a very eclectic mix of artists to perform at our home 4-6+ times a year. Our home is a very nice large Log Cabin on quiet Thompson Lake located in a rural Minnesota setting. Musicians come and perform original material, both new and old, as well as some classics, and sell their CD’s and other wares to our guests and their fans. 100% of ticket donations goes to the artist(s). |

Reservations for shows are limited as follows (weather permitting): · Great Room (inside): 1st 50-75 depending on show/artist · Poolside (outdoor): 10-50+ · Gazebo (outdoor): 50-250+ |
